SEO Cost in India 2026 | What Each Package Includes

SEO cost in India 2026 with search analytics, technical audit and package comparison

Published 3 October 2026.

SEO with us starts at ₹50,000 + GST a month and tops out at ₹2,00,000 + GST a month, and every plan includes AEO and GEO as well as classic SEO. Those are the four published prices on our SEO services page, and this post explains what moves a quote up or down within them.

We are an agency selling these plans, so read the advice on comparing quotes with that in mind. Where we do not know something, we say so.

The four plans side by side

The first three plans are priced by keyword volume. The fourth drops keywords as the unit, because for some businesses the keyword list is what limits the result.

Plan Price a month Suits Target keywords What is added at this step
Starter ₹50,000 + GST A single market or product line 30 Technical fixes, on-page work, content and metadata, monthly reporting from your own analytics
Growth (most chosen) ₹75,000 + GST Multi-category or multi-city demand 50 Everything in Starter at greater depth, a wider content programme and internal linking, off-page and digital PR groundwork
Scale ₹1,25,000 + GST Competitive or international terms 80 Everything in Growth across more markets, sustained content and authority building, AEO and GEO visibility monitoring
Resource-based ₹2,00,000 + GST Businesses where keywords are the wrong unit No cap Two dedicated specialists, scope set by the goal, effectively an in-house SEO function

Starter is ₹50,000 and Growth is ₹75,000. If you are between them, the question is whether 30 keywords cover your demand or 50 do, and we will tell you which fits after looking at your site. If a smaller plan would serve you, we say so.

One piece of arithmetic that helps when you hold another quote next to ours. Divide the monthly price by the keyword count and Starter comes to about ₹1,667 a keyword, Growth to ₹1,500, and Scale to about ₹1,563. That is division, not a rate card, and it shows why a shortlist of 40 keywords fits Growth better than Starter.

What actually moves the price

Keyword count comes first. Thirty keywords and eighty keywords are different volumes of content, tracking and fixes, and that is why the plans step up where they do.

Number of markets comes second. One city and one product line is a contained job. Ten cities, or India plus the Gulf, means more landing pages, more local signals and more terms to monitor, which is the territory Scale is written for.

Competition changes the effort behind the same keyword. A term where ten established brands have spent years building links needs more sustained work than a term nobody has bothered with. This is why we do not put a fixed price on a keyword without seeing the search results for it.

Content volume is the next lever. Growth adds a wider content programme over Starter, and Scale adds sustained content and authority building. If your category needs a lot of pages that answer buyer questions, that is where the hours go.

Site size matters too. A 40-page company site and a catalogue of several thousand product pages need different technical work. The plan page does not set a size limit for each tier, so site size comes up when we scope your case.

The last factor is whether you need the bigger plan at all. A new site with one product line may not need 80 keywords, and we would sooner sell you Starter and be right than sell you Scale and be wrong.

What every plan includes

Every plan, including the cheapest, covers technical SEO and site health, on-page work and metadata, content strategy and briefs, and internal linking. It also covers schema and structured data, AEO and GEO readiness, Core Web Vitals monitoring, and reporting from your own analytics.

The AEO and GEO inclusion is the part buyers ask about. AEO is about structuring what you publish so an answer engine can quote it, and GEO is about being cited inside AI-generated answers. Our pages on answer engine optimisation and generative engine optimisation describe the work, and the post on SEO, AEO and GEO compared explains how they depend on each other. Scale adds visibility monitoring for AEO and GEO on top of the readiness work every plan gets.

If you only want a standalone AEO engagement, such as an entity and citation audit or a schema rebuild, that is scoped individually and does not follow the plan prices above.

How to compare two SEO quotes

Put both quotes in front of you and count what is written down, not what is implied. A line that says “SEO optimisation” has no number in it, so you cannot compare it with anything.

Ask each agency these things before you compare the prices.

  • How many target keywords, and who chooses them?
  • Which cities or countries are in scope?
  • How many pieces of content a month, and who writes them?
  • Is technical work on the site included, or does it need a developer you pay separately?
  • Do reports come from your own Google analytics, or from the agency’s tool?
  • What is the minimum contract, and who owns the accounts and files if you leave?

Count the inclusions in the same way. If one quote names technical fixes, content, internal linking, schema and reporting, and the other names only a keyword list, the cheaper one is probably missing work, not saving you money.

Red flags

A guaranteed position is the first. Nobody controls Google’s results, so we do not guarantee rankings, and an agency that does is either taking a risk it cannot manage or selling you something else.

Bought links are the second. Google’s spam policies define link spam as creating links to or from a site primarily to manipulate rankings. They name buying or selling links for ranking purposes as an example, including exchanging money for links.[1] The same page says buying and selling links is a normal part of advertising and sponsorship, and that such links are fine when marked with rel="nofollow" or rel="sponsored". It also says violating sites may rank lower or not appear at all. So ask where the links come from, and how they are marked.

A keyword-only deliverable is the third. “We will rank you for 50 keywords” says nothing about the technical fixes, content or internal links that get a page there. Ask what work happens each month, not only what the target list is.

The guide to choosing a digital marketing agency in India covers the wider checklist if you are also comparing agencies for other services.

How long SEO takes

Rankings usually settle over three to six months, and they keep moving after that. We do not guarantee positions, and we would not trust a quote that did.

The planning consequence is simple. Budget for six months before you judge the work. At Starter that is ₹3,00,000 + GST, at Growth ₹4,50,000 + GST, at Scale ₹7,50,000 + GST, and at Resource-based ₹12,00,000 + GST, which is the monthly price multiplied by six.

Results from our own clients show the shape. Sirca Paints grew organic traffic 285% over five years of compounding work, which is a slow curve, and you can read it in the Sirca Paints SEO case study. Sudhir Power rebuilt its site and organic traffic rose 245% without losing existing rankings, documented in the Sudhir Power case study. And Pravek, an Ayurveda store, reached 150+ organic orders a month by September 2026, with clicks from Google Search up 19% to 6.18K in the latest quarter, as set out in the Pravek SEO case study.

Those are results for those clients in those categories. We do not know what your site will do, and nobody can know before looking at it.

Size the work with the free audit first

You can get a rough idea of the work before a sales call. RankStreet, our free tool, audits a page across 60+ ranking signals, including AEO and GEO readiness and Core Web Vitals, and returns a ranked list of fixes.

A site with a handful of fixes may fit Starter or Growth. A site with problems on every template, or a large catalogue, may need Scale. The audit does not replace scoping, but it stops you walking into a call with no idea what the numbers mean.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does SEO cost per month in India?

With us it starts at ₹50,000 + GST a month and goes up to ₹2,00,000 + GST a month, across four plans. Every plan includes SEO, AEO and GEO. Which plan fits depends mainly on how many keywords you need worked and how many markets you serve.

What do SEO packages cost in India for a small business?

Our smallest plan, Starter, is ₹50,000 + GST a month for 30 target keywords in a single market or product line. If your needs are smaller than that, tell us on the first call. We will say whether a lighter scope would do, and we do not publish a price below Starter.

Why do SEO quotes from different agencies differ so much?

Because they usually cover different work. One quote may include technical fixes, content, internal linking and reporting, while another covers a keyword list only. Count the named deliverables in each quote before you compare the prices.

Is SEO a monthly cost or a one-time cost?

It is a monthly cost. All four plans are priced per month, and the work continues because search results, competitors and your own site keep changing.

How long before SEO shows results?

Rankings usually settle over three to six months, and keep changing afterwards. We do not guarantee positions or traffic. Budget for six months before judging, which at ₹50,000 + GST a month is ₹3,00,000 + GST.

Do your SEO plans include AEO and GEO?

Yes. All four plans cover SEO, AEO and GEO readiness. Scale adds AEO and GEO visibility monitoring. You can read what each layer involves on our AEO and GEO pages.

Is it safe to buy backlinks as part of an SEO package?

No. Google’s spam policies name buying or selling links for ranking purposes as link spam, and say affected sites may rank lower or not appear in results. Paid placements that are marked with nofollow or sponsored attributes are treated differently.
