Manufacturer and Industrial Website Design

A procurement team cannot visit your plant before shortlisting. They can only see what you published. We build industrial websites that carry capacity, certification and specification — the things that actually decide the shortlist.

What an industrial buyer checks before contacting you

Sit in on a vendor evaluation and the same questions come up every time. Most manufacturing websites answer none of them.

01

Capacity

Installed capacity, plants, lines, floor area, annual output. The most common gap on Indian industrial sites — and if a buyer cannot find it, they assume it is not impressive.

02

Experience

How long you have been doing this. Longevity is a proxy for survival, and survival is a proxy for reliability. It belongs on the homepage, not buried in About Us.

03

Association

OEM relationships, group companies, export markets, listings, technical collaborations. In B2B the customer list is the credential.

04

Quality standards

IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, testing infrastructure, rejection rates. For procurement these are gate criteria — a supplier who does not visibly clear the gate is often not evaluated at all.

05

Specifications

Grades, tolerances, materials, dimensions, applications — as crawlable HTML, not locked inside a PDF where neither search engines nor AI assistants can read them properly.

06

Category leadership

Whether you have a view on where the sector is heading. It is the difference between being treated as a vendor and being treated as a partner.

Why industrial sites underperform

It is rarely the business. It is that the website was built to describe the company rather than qualify it.

01

Built as a brochure

Product lists and a mission statement, when the buyer arrived to verify whether you can supply at their volume.

02

Specs trapped in PDFs

Datasheets behind downloads are invisible to search and to AI answers. Published as HTML, they become your highest-intent pages.

03

Credentials buried

Certifications and listings one or two clicks deep, when they are the first filter a procurement team applies.

04

No depth for export buyers

Thin content in a buyer’s language reads as a thin business. This is where multilingual work pays back.

A real example. A six-decade-old listed automotive components manufacturer we are rebuilding for had, on its previous site, zero mentions of ISO or IATF certification anywhere — the first gate any automotive procurement team applies. The credentials were never missing from the business, only from the page.

The platforms we build on

We are not a WordPress shop, or a Shopify shop. We choose the platform from the brief — and here is how that decision actually goes.

WordPress

Most builds

Content-led and corporate sites, multilingual builds, anything your own marketing team needs to edit without calling us. Custom themes rather than marketplace templates.

WooCommerce

Commerce

Commerce layered onto WordPress. The right call when the catalogue sits alongside a lot of content, or when you want to own the whole stack rather than rent it.

Shopify

Commerce

Commerce-first businesses where payments, inventory and checkout should be someone else’s problem. Faster to launch, less flexible outside the cart.

Webflow

Design-led

Design-led marketing sites that need to look exact and change often. Excellent for brand and campaign sites, limited once real business logic is involved.

Wix and site builders

When it fits

We will say it plainly: for a five-page brochure site with no integrations, a builder is enough and we will tell you so. We take over when you outgrow it.

Custom development

Applications

Portals, dashboards, configurators, ERP and CRM integrations — where the business logic is the product and forcing it into a CMS costs more than building it properly.

We pick the platform after the scope, not before. An agency that builds everything on one system will recommend that system regardless of fit. It is why MAS Recovery, a US healthcare firm operating since 1999, runs on a hand-built static site with no CMS at all.

The stack underneath

Platforms are the surface. When a brief needs custom work — a portal, a dashboard, a configurator, an integration — this is what it is built with.

PHP

Server-side core

Laravel

PHP framework

React

Interactive front end

Next.js

React framework, SSR

Node.js

APIs and services

MySQL

Data layer

Why this matters to you and not just to developers. A WordPress site is PHP underneath, which is why we can extend it properly rather than bolting on another plugin. And when a page needs to behave like an application — live pricing, a product configurator, a dashboard your customers log into — React and Next.js are how that gets built without abandoning the site you already have.

Built to be found, not just built

A website nobody finds is an expensive brochure. Search, answer engines and structured data are part of the build here, not a separate project sold afterwards — because search is what we do for the rest of our clients every day.

SEO

Search foundations, during the build

Crawlable structure, clean URLs, internal linking, metadata, image alt text and a redirect map on launch. Retrofitting this after a site ships costs more and works less well.

Schema

Structured data as standard

Organization, Product, Review, FAQ, Breadcrumb and Video schema implemented and validated — not a plugin switched on and never checked. It is what makes star ratings, prices and FAQs appear in results.

AEO

Answers machines can read

Specifications as HTML rather than PDFs, real FAQ blocks, definitions and figures stated plainly. AI assistants cite pages that answer directly; they skip pages that gesture at an answer.

GEO

Built to be cited

Entity clarity, consistent naming, published author and organisation detail, and claims backed by numbers. This is what decides whether a generative engine names you or a competitor.

Performance

Speed and Core Web Vitals

Passing PageSpeed rather than merely looking finished. Slow sites lose rankings and conversions in the same motion.

Analytics

Measurement that survives

Analytics, conversion tracking and Search Console configured at launch, so you can tell what the site actually did rather than guessing three months later.

Listed companies

Investor sections that hold up

We work with companies listed on NSE and BSE. Investor relations is its own discipline — disclosures, results, shareholding, announcements and policy documents, structured so they are easy to find and safe to publish on a deadline.

Always on

Uptime monitoring and support

A listed company’s website going down is not an inconvenience, it is a disclosure problem. Monitoring, backups, patching and a defined response path come as part of the engagement.

Listed-company experience. We build for businesses listed on NSE and BSE, where the site carries investor disclosures and cannot simply be offline. We do this for ourselves first. digistreetmedia.com carries Product, Review, FAQ, Breadcrumb and Video schema, a custom video sitemap, and star ratings in Google results — and we have been cited in Google’s AI Overview for our own category.

Corporate and manufacturing website packages

Listed companies. If your disclosures live on the site, the investor architecture and uptime monitoring in Corporate Plus and Enterprise are not optional extras — they are the reason those tiers exist.

Industrial and Manufacturer Website Design — FAQs

Because the visitor is qualifying a supplier, not browsing. They need capacity, certifications, specifications and proof of scale before they will make contact. A consumer-style brochure site answers none of that, which is why capable manufacturers routinely lose shortlist places to smaller competitors who simply present better.

Web pages. PDFs are effectively invisible to search engines and AI assistants, and awkward on mobile. Published as structured HTML, specification pages become the highest-intent pages on an industrial site, because they match exactly what technical buyers search for.

If Europe, Japan or the Gulf are real markets for you, yes. Thin content in a buyer’s language reads as a thin business. We implement hreflang properly so the translated pages are treated as alternates rather than duplicates.

Installed capacity, plant count, floor area, certifications and export markets are not commercially sensitive for most manufacturers — competitors already know them. What stays private is pricing, customer-specific volumes and process detail. The distinction is usually clearer than it first appears.

It changes which shortlists you appear on, which is the mechanism that produces enquiries in B2B. Expect movement over six to nine months, aligned to the buying cycle rather than the reporting month. Judging industrial web work on monthly lead counts pushes everyone toward the wrong tactics.

Thirteen years in industrial and B2B, with clients including SKF, JBM Group, Kobelco, Jakson, Prem Cables and Metso. We are comfortable with drawings, grades and tolerances, and we would rather ask your engineers questions than write around the technical detail.
