White-label SEO for agencies: pricing and reporting

Updated 25 October 2026.

DigiStreet’s white-label SEO pricing starts from the same published monthly tiers as direct SEO, then applies a partner discount based on the number of active clients. Reporting carries the partner’s branding, and the partner keeps control of the client relationship.

Starter is ₹50,000 + GST a month for up to 30 keywords, Growth is ₹75,000 for up to 50, Scale is ₹1,25,000 for up to 80 and Resource-based is ₹2,00,000 for two dedicated specialists. The partner receives 10% off with 1–4 active clients, 20% with 5–9 and 25% with 10 or more. AEO and GEO visibility monitoring is included in every SEO tier. The related DigiStreet commercial page is white-label SEO in India.

The discount applies to SEO, AEO and GEO work only. It does not quietly absorb paid media, website development, social media, design or production. INR is the default billing currency; an overseas partner may use USD at the conversion rate fixed in the agreement. DigiStreet replies to partner messages within one Indian working day, and client contact happens only when the partner requests a joint call.

Price the client, then apply the partner band

The cleanest quote begins with the client’s site and search scope rather than the agency’s total pipeline. One focused market may fit Starter, while a large catalogue or several regions may need Growth, Scale or dedicated people. Once the tier is selected, the number of active clients determines the discount. This sequence prevents a volume promise from forcing a complex account into a tier that cannot carry its backlog.

For one Starter client, the 10% band produces ₹45,000 + GST a month. Six Growth clients sit in the 20% band, making each account ₹60,000 + GST a month. Eleven Scale clients use the 25% band, making each account ₹93,750 + GST a month. The band applies per active client and can be shown plainly in the agency’s margin model.

What a monthly SEO tier can cover

The monthly scope may include technical diagnosis, page planning, content briefs, content production, internal links, authority work, search visibility review, AEO checks and GEO observation. The exact mix depends on the site and the agreed backlog. Keyword counts are boundaries for the published tiers, not an instruction to produce reports that mention only rankings.

The scope must also name who uploads content, approves regulated claims, supplies development time and controls analytics access. Those responsibilities change the pace of delivery. A report should not disguise a missing client approval as agency inactivity, nor should it credit an unpublished recommendation as completed work. Clear ownership protects the agency’s account team and the specialist delivery team.

A report the agency can actually present

A useful white-label report opens with the commercial objective and the work completed during the period. It then shows technical changes, pages or briefs delivered, internal-link work, authority activity, search visibility and relevant enquiry evidence. Rankings can be included, but a list of positions without page context, dates or shipped work gives the account director little to discuss.

Branding should be consistent: the agency’s logo, colours, named account owner and agreed terminology. The report should separate observations from interpretations. Search Console clicks are observed data; the claim that a specific change caused them is an interpretation unless the evidence supports it. This distinction helps the agency answer client questions without overstating a result.

Reporting rhythm and source access

Monthly reporting works best when the data cut-off, review date and approval window are fixed. Search Console and analytics access should be confirmed before the baseline is recorded. Google’s Search Console Performance documentation explains that the report can be grouped by queries, pages, countries, devices and search appearance. Those views support diagnosis, but they do not replace CRM feedback about lead quality or revenue.

The agency should retain access to the underlying properties rather than receiving only screenshots. A concise report can link to an approved Looker Studio view or exported evidence, while sensitive client data stays inside agreed permissions. If the partner supplies a template, the same evidence definitions should be mapped before the first report so that “conversion”, “qualified enquiry” and “published work” mean the same thing to everyone.

An onboarding brief that prevents rework

The first brief should name the client, domain, priority market, products or services, commercial objective, current platform, known migrations, analytics ownership, content approver and constraints. It should also record active legal or compliance restrictions. An incomplete access list can be accepted as a blocker, but it should not disappear from the plan.

Every account needs a written client-contact rule. DigiStreet does not contact the client unless the partner asks for a joint call. The partner remains the primary relationship owner, decides how recommendations are presented and approves any client-facing change. A signed NDA and partner-branded reporting arrangement belong in onboarding, not as an afterthought once work has started.

How to evaluate margin without weakening delivery

Agency margin is the fee charged to the client minus the partner delivery rate and the agency’s own account costs. Account management, strategy, meetings, creative coordination and commercial risk still consume agency time, so the wholesale discount should not be treated as pure margin. Build the model per client and include the hours that remain with the partner.

Review the account when its scope changes. A five-country expansion, a major ecommerce catalogue or a migration can outgrow the initial tier even if the keyword list looks similar. The better response is a recorded scope adjustment, not hidden compression. Stable reporting becomes especially valuable here because it shows the backlog, blockers and pace that informed the change.

A reporting page for the account director

The account director needs a short sequence that can be read before a client call. Begin with the objective and the reporting period, then list what was published, fixed or approved. Follow with a small group of outcome views tied to the active work: landing-page clicks, non-brand query discovery, eligible enquiry events, citation observations and the backlog still waiting on access. Every chart needs a source, date range and comparison period.

Keep commentary close to the evidence. If a page gained impressions after publication, state the dates and the observed change; do not imply that the page alone caused every movement around it. If a development ticket remained open, identify the blocked recommendation and owner. This language gives the partner a defensible account of delivery and prevents an attractive dashboard from hiding a stalled dependency.

End with decisions rather than a longer activity inventory. The report can ask the client to approve a brief, supply a technical owner, confirm a product fact or choose the next market. The agency then knows what to carry into the meeting and DigiStreet knows what can move after it. A written decision record is more useful than an unexplained red or green status.

Capacity planning across several active clients

Volume discounts make sense only when the delivery queue remains visible. Group shared activities such as reporting preparation or technical triage, but keep each client’s facts, access, approvals and evidence separate. One client’s regulated language must never be copied into another account for convenience. The partner should be able to see the capacity committed to each tier and the work waiting behind a client-side decision.

A portfolio view can list the active tier, next milestone, blocking owner, report date and material scope change for every account. This is not a substitute for the client report. It is an agency operations view that helps the partner balance launches, meetings and approvals. If several clients require migrations in the same week, the risk is visible early enough to re-sequence work honestly.

The active-client discount band should follow the clients actually in delivery, not unsigned proposals. When an account starts or ends, confirm the commercial date and the band that will apply. Written pricing records remove ambiguity for finance teams and help the agency quote new work without promising a rate that depends on future volume.

The handover between account management and delivery needs its own acceptance check. Confirm that the signed scope, approved domain, analytics properties, reporting recipients, brand template and first approval owner match the commercial record. A one-character domain error or an outdated recipient list can create more trouble than a missing slide in the report.

Quarterly, compare the contracted tier with the active backlog. The review can retain the tier, narrow work that no longer matters or propose a documented change. It should not quietly remove promised work to protect margin. That discipline lets the partner sell capacity with a clear view of what each monthly price can responsibly carry.
