Web and digital interface designers in the Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Roswell metro area earn a mean $58.34 an hour, against a US mean of $56.49 [1] [2]. There are 1,890 of them, plus 990 web developers on a mean $47.02 [3]. If you typed “web design atlanta”, the talent is there. You will pay Atlanta rates for it.
Our studio is in Noida, India, American companies hire us for their websites, and a corporate build with us starts at $3,300. This post sets the Atlanta numbers next to ours so you can pick the kind of team that fits your site. Some Atlanta buyers should hire locally, and we say which ones further down.
Atlanta pays its web designers more than the US average
The Bureau of Labor Statistics publishes wage estimates for every metro area once a year. Its May 2025 figures, released on 15 May 2026, look like this for the three roles that build and design websites [1] [4].
| Role | Jobs in metro Atlanta | Atlanta mean hourly wage | US mean hourly wage | Atlanta mean annual wage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Web and digital interface designers | 1,890 | $58.34 | $56.49 | $121,350 |
| Web developers | 990 | $47.02 | $47.49 | $97,800 |
| Graphic designers | 4,060 | $32.52 | $33.92 | $67,650 |

Designers are the outlier. They earn $1.85 an hour more than the national mean, about 3% more, and a year of their work averages $121,350 against $117,490 across the US. Developers and graphic designers sit just under the national figure. The spread is wide too: a tenth of Atlanta’s interface designers earn under $30.94 an hour and a tenth earn over $87.65.
Read these as wages paid to employees in the metro area, not as agency prices. They also measure depth. BLS gives Atlanta a location quotient of 0.9 for interface designers, where 1.0 is the national average share of jobs, so the role is about as common here as anywhere in the country. You will not run short of people to interview.
What $3,300 buys at Atlanta employer cost
A wage is only part of what an employer pays. BLS puts private-industry compensation at $46.89 per hour worked in June 2026, of which $32.82, or 70%, is wages [5]. If benefits run at the private-industry average, wages are 70% of the employer’s cost, so a $58.34 Atlanta designer wage costs the employer about $83.34 an hour ($58.34 / 0.70) before office, software, sales or profit.
Spend $3,300 at that rate and it lasts about 39.6 hours of one Atlanta designer. That is one working week, with no developer, no project manager and no help on content.
Agencies charge more than employer cost because they carry the overheads too. Clutch, which collects verified client reviews of agencies, lists $100 to $149 an hour as what US web design companies typically charge, against under $25 an hour in India [6]. Hand the same $3,300 to a US agency and you get 22 to 33 hours.

Clutch’s reviewed projects average $38,105, most of them cost under $10,000, and most run for about seven months [6]. Our prices for US clients are set in dollars:
- Websites from $1,450
- B2B websites from $2,600
- Corporate websites from $3,300
- Ecommerce websites from $3,700
- Hosting and maintenance from $300 a month
Clutch’s average project is about 11.5 times our corporate starting price ($38,105 / $3,300). For that $3,300 you get a corporate information architecture, reusable CMS components and separate routes through the site for each group of visitors. Our website development service page lists what every tier includes.
When an Atlanta agency earns its higher rate
Some projects need people in the room. If your site depends on a photo or video shoot at your Atlanta premises, a local team can be there on the day and we cannot. The same goes for on-site discovery workshops with a large group of stakeholders, and for any procurement rule that says your vendor must be a US company.
In those cases, hire an Atlanta agency. The higher rate buys something you need.
You can also split the work: book a local photographer for the shoot and send the files to whoever builds the site. Wireframes, design files and staging links look the same whether the agency is ten minutes away or in Noida.

Calls at 8 am Eastern, work done while Atlanta sleeps
Atlanta runs on US Eastern time, which keeps the arithmetic simple. Our lines are open to US clients from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon Eastern, Monday to Friday. India sits at UTC+05:30 and does not change its clocks [7], so while US daylight saving time is on, that window falls between 5:30 pm and 9:30 pm in Noida. Once US clocks fall back on 1 November 2026 [8], the Noida end shifts an hour later, to 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm, and stays there until March.
Design and code get done in our daytime, which is Atlanta’s overnight. Send feedback after a morning call and the changes can be on the staging link by the time you open your laptop the next day.
Your Atlanta map ranking comes from your own Google profile
If you want to show up when someone in Atlanta searches for what you sell, your agency’s address does not matter. Google names three main inputs for local results, relevance, distance and prominence, and defines distance as the gap between your business and whoever is searching [9]. Google also credits review count and positive ratings as things that can help. Your Business Profile does that work, not the location of whoever built your site.
What a build can do is give that profile a clear, well-structured website to point at. If you are replacing an older site, we first map the URLs that already pull in traffic and give each one that changes a redirect. After launch, our SEO plans for US companies run $750 a month for Starter (30 keywords), $1,100 for Growth (50), $1,850 for Scale (80) and $2,950 for Resource-based, which gives you two dedicated specialists. AEO and GEO, meaning visibility in AI answers, are part of every plan.
Over a longer stretch, the compounding is what pays. SKF’s organic traffic grew 565% in a year, from 937,815 to 6,238,985 visitors.
Three to four weeks to launch, with the accounts in your name
Most business and B2B sites we build go live in three to four weeks. Simple builds can finish in 14 days, ordinary ones within 30, and complex projects run to about two months. The slow part is rarely the code. It is waiting for copy, images and sign-off from your side.

Voting Portals, the Florida election-software maker, keeps us on both its website and its SEO. Don Gonzales, its Marketing Head, put it this way: “Over the last five years, Kavish Arora and the team at DigiStreet Media have become an extended part of our marketing team.” The Voting Portals case study has the detail, and you can read more on our client testimonials page. Across Google, Clutch, AmbitionBox and Facebook, 250+ reviewers give us an average of 4.8 out of 5.

The Miami public adjusters at Santos Public Adjusters gave us both the website and the SEO behind it, and their case study covers what we built.

Our corporate work reaches beyond the US too. Kobelco India, the Indian arm of the Japanese construction equipment maker, runs a corporate website we built, and we have worked on its print material as well.
Ownership is settled before any work starts. The domain, hosting, code and analytics accounts sit in your name, and the proposal says so in writing. If you ever move on, you take all of it with you.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should an Atlanta company budget for a new website?
With a US agency, Clutch’s 2026 guide puts typical project prices at $2,000 to $100,000 and the average reviewed project at $38,105. With DigiStreet Media, corporate websites start at $3,300 and basic business sites at $1,450.
Are Atlanta web designers paid more than average?
Yes. Web and digital interface designers in the Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Roswell metro area earn a mean $58.34 an hour ($121,350 a year), above the US mean of $56.49, in BLS May 2025 estimates. Web developers there earn a mean $47.02, a little under the national $47.49.
Is a team in India reachable during the Atlanta business day?
Yes, every weekday morning. Calls run 8 am to noon Eastern, and the design and development work is done while it is night in Atlanta.
Does hiring an agency based in Atlanta improve my local Google ranking?
No. For local results Google weighs relevance, distance and prominence, and it measures distance from your business, never from your agency. Your Business Profile, reviews and ratings are what move it.
How soon could a new Atlanta company website go live?
In three to four weeks for most business and B2B sites, as long as your content and approvals keep pace. Allow about two months if the project is complex.
Does my company own the site and the code afterwards?
Yes. Domain, hosting, code and analytics are registered to your company, and the proposal you sign spells out that the source files and accounts belong to you. Before signing with anyone, run through the ownership checks in our guide on how to choose a web design company.
